KOFFLER, Edwin Max (Pat)

KOFFLER, Edwin Max (Pat)

Edwin Max (Pat) Koffler born March 5, 1944, passed away peacefully at his home with his devoted family by his side, January 25, 2019. He is survived by his caring wife Sharron, his son Brian (Maureen) their two sons Brandon (Caiti) & Keaton, his daughter Tammy, her son Donald & daughter Shalane (Shelby) and his sister Jenny (Allan) and nieces & nephews. Pat will be missed more than our words can say for he truly was a loving husband, father, grandfather brother & uncle.

We will especially miss his love of painting, sandblasting and repairing of vehicles & equipment along with his invaluable knowledge of anything mechanical he put his hands on. He would spend his days in his shop, usually with family and friends, always working on some project. Pat loved the outdoors; hunting & camping, he enjoyed our lakes and especially fishing. In the winters, he and Sharron loved to escape to the Arizona desert in their motorhome, so he could feel the warmth of the sunshine on his face.

We are very grateful to the Palliative Care Unit for all of their affectionate care and compassionate words they provided to him and his wife. We would also like to thank the Red Cross Equipment Loan Program for the equipment they supplied as needed and to Springfield Funeral Home for their assistance as well.

I only knew Pat through my Brother Trev, but can truly say he thought of Pat as another brother and will miss him dearly. I really enjoyed the short time I knew him and found him to be very pleasant to be around. He will be missed by us all and especially his family. Rest in peace Pat and sincere condolences to the Koffler family.

Thinking of you all through the passing of Pat. I was lucky to have got to know him through my dad, Trev. My dad will miss the time they shared together, as I will when he stopped by to say hello when dad was here working on my house. He was a strong, smart, kind person who we will all miss. Hugs to you all Kofflers. Donna Babet (Royston)
