KOENIG, Caroline

Caroline Patricia Koenig passed away suddenly in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on December 22, 2017 due to complications from a motor vehicle accident. Caroline is survived by her loving husband Trevor, one daughter Ashley Koenig, one son Ryan (Christine Hutton) Koenig, one grandson Damien Koenig all of Vernon, mother Claire Browne of Vancouver, father Frank (Sylvia) Browne of Vernon, one brother Michael Browne of Surrey, BC, one sister Kathy (Rob) Robertson of Kelowna, BC, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Ed Milne officiating. A reception will follow in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.

Those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Caroline may do so to the North Okanagan Hospice Society 3506 27 Avenue Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.

  So sorry to hear of Caroline's passing. I'm don't know your family personally but followed the story of her rescue after a car accident. Trevor, you are a heroic man. Your story of rescue brought tears to my eyes, your intuition was so incredible and it am sure your wife was amazed by that. May your family be surrounded by peace, love and support during this very difficult time.
