Wendy, I had the pleasure to have known a man, and a dear friend he was your father Kipp. Kipp was able to repair anything in my opinion and he did it happily, he cared for everyone both his family and friends. I could talk about Kipp forever and not cover how much he helped everyone. Wendy stay strong, and know your father was in my opinion one true gentleman.

Sorry to hear of Kipp's passing, Kelowna has lost another one of the automotive oldtimers from the 60s and 70s who were very talented and had knowledge that is not taught today. I remember going to his shop with my dad to visit and the colorful stories and language included. he would peer at you over top of his glasses when he was going to say something funny or educational !!! He will be remembered by many including our family.

    Our thoughts are with you.

I knew Kip most of my adult working life, I was in residential refrigeration and air conditioning he was a genius with auto air conditioning, Only problem was when ever I needed something for my own vehicles be it a/c parts or anything electric I could never pay, EVER. I got the odd chance to return the favor but it still was one sided. Only knew him by Kip, didn't find out his real name until years later. Had a lot of great discussions in the back of his shops, after hours. Truly one the nicest guys ever.

Truly an amazing mechanical wizard who never charged what he was worth. My dad actually returned to KIPP'S to insist he had been UNDERCHARGED for your dad's magic!!

    Family of 'Kipp',

You don't know me but I've known Palmar for some 40 years. First meeting him at 'KIPPS AUTO TECH' @ Reids corner in the early 80's to recently working from his home as an automotive technical genius after retirement. His vast knowledge and understanding of all things mechanical, electrical and ultimately complex were what made him shine. Positivity and a great sense of humor and his unmatched technical abilities were just part of this man's legacy. He will be remembered by me and many in our community forever.

It was my great pleasure knowing him,
