Bruce and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Betty. She was an amazing neighbour and friend during our "hoofing" days. Our kids loved Auntie Betty as they always came home with cookies in their hands and pockets. She will stay in our hearts always. May your warm and happy memories console you in this very sad time.

Love and hugs, Liz and Bruce Campbell

Betty was a special gift of friend and adviser and sounding board as I facilitated the Respiratory Club for 13 years. Her energy and smile made everyone with whom she came into contact feel better. Rest in peace, Betty, and my sincere condolences to your family.

Betty, you will be missed. I too was a recipient of her kind gifts of goodies in the office where I work, and the cream puffs were a particular favourite that went fast. She was a kind lady to all and someone I will always remember. Thank you for your heart, dear lady, and my condolences to your family.

Kator, Jimmy, Gary, Ricky, Sherri and families,

My heartfelt condolences on this deep and unfathomable loss. My favourite Aunt -if you're allowed to have one. Aunty Betty would envelope you in her warmth, enthusiasm and generosity. She was a cheerleader to all and I will miss her deeply. I have early memories of family dinners at your house in Vancouver. Us kids having to eat in the kitchen where the tray of cream puffs beckoned us from the fridge. As a teeny-bopper I was delighted to be invited to Westbank to spend part of summer being spoiled rotten and fed like a princess. So many, many wonderful memories too numerous to recount here. A wicked sense of humor yes, and sarcastic wit. Kator being the primary recipient.

I hope that your own fond memories fill your heart with warmth and melt some of the sorrow. The huge hole left by her passing is a testament to the impact she had in our lives and the love she so easily shared. May the coming weeks bring you some measure of peace.

Love to all, Penny and family

Warm thoughts to the Kildare Family. I first met Betty in 1982 when she was our "Saturday Girl" at A.E. Lepage. Always a smile! Then I got invited to take part in some of the Happy Hoofer's Dinners, so much fun! A great friend to all. Betty, will be missed.

Warm thoughts and condolences to Betty's family. Have known Betty for many years through the Kelowna Respiratory Clinic. Betty made it heaven on earth for us with her cream puffs. No one, and I mean no one, made cream puffs like Betty. Alice

Betty the sweetest lady ever. A beautiful lady inside and out. I was the recipient of many cream puffs and many pounds through the years of being her neighbor lol. Fabulous cook and baker and a kind lady who was the happiest doing for everyone. Never an unkind bone in her body. I remember one time being severely bit by a neighbors Dalmatian dog. The neighbors felt bad and were going to put the dog down. Betty calmly said you are not putting the dog down I should not have leaned over his fence to pet him. Her neighbors were special to her. Her lungs gave her problems but it is because her heart was so large with kindness, thoughtfulness and her beauty of her smile. Neighbors to my Mom (Dad) for 40 years. To know Betty was to love her and I got that opportunity to love her. My condolences to the Kildare Family in your loss to a fantastic wife, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma.
