Dennis and Ray, Brenda's Celebration of Life was beautiful. Everything thing she would have wanted. Dennis you did a remarkable job speaking of your Mom. Your Mom and Dad raised you very well and it really showed through your speech, so many Webber Rd memories. By the way your Mom taught me about elephants, they bring luck to you but only if the trunk is up, they also give health and happiness, the elephants worked for her. Ray your speech was loving, and from your heart. A fine job and an awesome tribute to a classy lady who always loved to laugh and her smile is what I will miss most because it was so radiant.

Sending our sincere condolences to Dennis and family and Ray.

Brenda was a lovely lady and we had fun coffee get togethers when she and Art lived on Webber Rd. Haven't seen her as much since she moved to Sun Village, but have run into Ray and her several times while shopping. We did enjoy having lunch with the both of them when we had a bus trip to Kamloops last year.

Our heart goes out to you Ray.

    Dear Dennis and family,

I was so sad to hear what happened to your beautiful mom. My father-in-law was also taken from us almost five years ago in a similar manner and we found it so hard to understand why this had to happen. Your mom sounds like a wonderful person and I know she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family <3

Dennis, Donna, Jonathan, Katherine and Ray, we are so very sorry for the loss of Brenda. I will always remember how her eyes would light up when we visited your house as teenagers. I now live in North Kelowna, but surprisingly we would run into each other now and again. Her eyes would light up the same now as they did then. Maybe that is why I remember? It was always nice to catch up. She always made us feel welcome as such a kind and caring person. I am glad she was part of our lives, and we have the memories to keep.

Brenda.....what can one say about you other than your heart of gold alway had a way of shining brighter than the stars in the sky. It seems like yesterday I was looking up to you as you taught me every thing I needed to know about selling jewellery at Birks jewellers in Orchard Park mall in 1983. You had the kindest heart in the world and not once ever heard a negative remark come from you. I'll never forget when you came see me at my work at DOLLARAMA on your way back from your walks to buy something to take home to snack on...you inspired me every time I saw you to never stop being active and live life to the fullest. I will miss you stopping in to see me but will never stop missing you....Sheila McAstocker

We are so very sad to hear of Brenda's tragic accident. I'm sending this on behalf of the Fettig family who lived across the street from the Hunt's on Webber Road in West Kelowna. We have the same memories of Brenda as was so eloquently expressed in her obituary and by friends in their condolence messages. We can add nothing more than that Brenda was a unique person with the warmest caring heart.

Sincere condolences to you, Dennis and family, and to you, Raymond, even though we have never met.

My condolences to Brenda's family Dennis & Donna and Raymond. I worked with Brenda at Birks for many years and have many wonderful memories, we took a jewellery course together. Brenda was always positive, kind, and just fun to be around we had a lot of laughs. She was honest and sincere a great person. We still talked on the phone a couple times a year she always asked about my cat she loved cats. We will all miss her.

Dennis and family and Ray, my heart goes out to you. I am pretty shook up because Brenda was a family friend for 43 years - our parents did so much together. The memories are so many. The love of her cats, going for walks, playing cards, working for Birks, the pool, the New Years Parties either your parents house or my parent's house. She was kind, cautious in everything she did, particular in her look, her house, her job. Losing Diane tragically was hard. Christmas memory all gifts were wrapped in Birks blue paper with silver bows. For 83 Brenda was alert in her mind, memory was sharp for her age. Another memory he always called your Dad a Silly Billy. Her English manor came out. Big hugs going to you all. In 1975 we met The Hunts over the empty lot between us as we were building our new house and Major the Doberman bounding over to greet us. Mom grabbed our little Scotty dog starting running for the truck. From then on their friendship blossomed, and every Saturday was card playing. I am devastated and saddened.

Hugs to all of you, and condolences.
