HOLITZKI, Gerald

It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and friend Gerald Holitzki on July 13, 2022.

Gerald was born Feb. 1 / 1935, a long time resident of Winfield, Gerald met the love of his life Lillian Harden and they married on November 6th , 1956. Together they started the family business in 1967 and raised their 7 children. Gerald was a founding member of the Winfield Firehall where he volunteered for 9 & 1/2 years.

Gerald is survived by his wife Lillian and his children James, Doug (Elizabeth), Linda (Jim). Laurie (Joan), Terry ( Gayle), Rozanne (John). His Grandchildren Jay, David, Travis, Judy, Tina, Jennifer, Lisa, Brent and Great Grandchildren Rae-lynn, Kira, Danielle, Stephanie, Charlotte, Veronica, Seth, Bentley, Enzo and his brother Lenard. Gerald is also predeceased by his son Kevin, daughter in law Joan, infant grand daughter Tia, grandson Neil, infant great great grandson Raphael and his brothers Zack, Martin, Randy, Paul, Raymond, sister Mary and his parents.

We will all carry you in our hearts Dad. We love you.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would also like to thank the staff at KGH for the care they showed Dad.
And also a huge Thank you to the family at Alternatives Funeral Services for making this tough time easier.

    Lillian, I am sorry to read of Gerry's passing. You've been together for many years and his passing is a tremendous loss for you. Life changing actually.
