Obituaries

Arthur Lionel Hine passed away in his sleep on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 93. Survived by his loving wife Theresa of 69 years; sons Keith (Lora) of Mission BC, Brian (Carol) of Maple Ridge, BC; daughter Shelley (Russell) Malin of Kelowna; grandchildren: Coraleigh (Tyler) Jones, Thomas, Joseph and Jacob Hine, Eric (Angela) Hine, Lindsey (Cam) Lenfesty, Jennifer (Jivan) Sundram, Craig and Courtney Malin; great grandchildren: Annabelle, Ethan, Griffin, Kate and Emmalyn; sister-in-law Margaret of Kelowna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Art is the last sibling in his family to pass. Thank you to all the Staff and Nurses at Cottonwoods for your Excellent care of our Feisty PATRIARCH.

  Terry, so sorry to hear of Art's passing. You both were such wonderful neighbours to my Grandma Flo for so many years after my Granddad Emile passed in 1990. Thanks for everything, Art. RIP.

  So very sorry to read about Art's passing, but what a wonderful life he had. I remember him from the old days at the Legion and Army and Navy, and also curling with and against him. He always made me smile and was such a gentle man. My condolences to the family.
