    Dear Betty and Family,

We were so saddened to hear of Don's passing. As many people have already said, Don was kind, a true gentleman and always had a smile. We look back on our days in Sun Village and waving across the "pond" to the two of you and your families.

We also have fond memories of holidays spent together in Hawaii, Tasmania and recently your visits to us back here in Ontario.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to you all.

I had the great pleasure of curling with Don this last square and really enjoyed his quiet demeanor and his great sense of humour.

I'm sure I speak for all curlers who knew Don. He will be sorely missed.

The loss of a true gentleman.
