Edie will always be remembered as a kind, loving and fun person. My mother, Edie's sister in law was very fond of her and pleased that her brother had married such a kind and loving person. Condolences to the family. xx

It was my pleasure, as a hospice volunteer, to visit with Edith several times during her stay at KGH. John and Brenda, you gave your mom devoted round-the-clock care that helped to make her last weeks so much more comfortable. I'm sorry for your family's loss. Donna

We at St. Mary's Choir are just devastated to lose this voice of an Angel. Edie was more than just a beautiful singer, all contributions of Edie's were beautiful, from the formal Altar Hangings, to the quilted 75 anniversary banners and her beautiful expressive face when she was singing. The Parkinson's Disease SongShine Support group will also miss Edie tremendously.
John & Brenda, Paul & Pat and especially Dodie & Ken plus all family members, we are so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your precious loss. I have met Edie just a few months ago because she was coming to my fitness classes and right away I liked her. She is an inspiration to me. Her smile was contagious. I love the fact that she stayed active until the end... we all miss her in our group. That's the way I want to get older...
    With all my love

I took care of Edith at KGH ... one of her many nurses. I just want to say that she was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. It was an honor taking care of her. She was always so thankful for everything. What a bright light she must have brought to the lives of so many over her lifetime.
