Dear Carolyn & Sharon. So sad to say farewell to my favorite cousin. May your tears help heal an aching heart. Do hope she teaches Emil some new card tricks up there.

I also worked with Irene at the hospital and we would chat often. She was such a sweetie, always so interested in how my "night shift" had gone and if there had been any new babies born!, What a wonderful life, lots to celebrate. I'm sure she will be missed by so many. Please accept my sympathy.

    Carolyn, Sharon & Families,
We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great friend and neighbour to Agnes & Murray while at Glenwood and then neighbours again at Hawthorn until Murray and Agnes moved to Cranbrook in 2016.
Many an evening was spent together having our drink of "Bailey's" while sharing stories and laughs. Her memory will hold strong in our hearts.

Mr. Gundrum was my grade six school teacher way back in the fifties, my twin sister and I have many funny fun memories of him while he taught us. He also always was so proud of his son and girls and spoke with pride about his wife and his children. We knew his wife was much gentler in mannerism so we felt like a family when we were in his classroom as he really was a softy. Mrs. Gundrum has a beautiful yard and home we used to walk by everyday. She will always be remembered ,never to be forgotten!

I'll always have great memories of my "Bama," climbing in her cherry trees as a kid, playing in her garden. She was the sweetest grandmother one could hope for. She lived a full life, and I'm glad she's at peace.

Carolyn & Sharon, so sad to know your mum has passed away. She was like a "second mum" to me for so many years. Always there and so calming. Whether it was a hug at the hospital or a scolding in our youth, she was always there for us all. As the song goes "Good Night Irene, I'll see you in my dreams".
    Love, Dave Stringer

I am so sorry to hear this. She was a lovely lady. I knew her at KGH when I worked there and she was always a sweetheart, time for everyone and loved her association there and all her volunteer hours. To her children, you had a beautiful mother and treasure your memories. She will be missed. Barbara and Dwight Carroll
