GOSTLIN, Andrea May

GOSTLIN, Andrea May

With great sadness, the family of Andrea Gostlin announces her death on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Kelowna General Hospital. Andrea always had a ready smile and sharp wit, despite the fact that for many years she had been dealing with an increasingly debilitating breathing disease and severe pain. The fight finally took its toll and she is now at peace with no more pain.

Andrea will be lovingly remembered as a faithful friend, generous and giving; resilient and loyal; nonjudgmental and compassionate; and eternally optimistic. She was a lover of animals; the queen of Sudoku and Kenken; and was known for her culinary expertise and love of entertaining. She will be missed by her many friends across Canada and beyond.

Most important in her life was family. For almost 53 years, she was Keith

    Andie and I spent many, many years together at the Womans Place, World Gym and most recently my Pilates studio. Andie always arrived with a smile on her face, a story to share and regardless of how she felt that day...her words when our class ended..." I feel better now than when I arrived."

    Her recent bad health never reflected her heart or her spirit for life. She will be so dearly missed.

    Keith and your family;

    As for me...I will truly miss Andie. We had a long personal and business relationship with lots of visits, discussions and laughs. I cannot think of more positive client in my long career. once in awhile we would meet for dinner and always expect Andie to have a great quote or joke for us.

    To a gal who lived life fully and with great courage, I lift a glass.

    Keith Dan Jeff and families;

    So sad to hear of Andie's passing. She was my connection to our collective youth with social media and emails and Xmas cards to stay in touch after your family moved out west and us east leaving Puslinch and Guelph in the dust. I especially appreciated the connecting to OUR David as Dave Hammond's grandson when he was on his co-op year in Kelowna and offering him hospitality and support. She was an amazing woman and I am so sorry for your loss of her vitality and love. Condolences for all of you and may she now rest in peace from her pain.
