GOODER, Lasha Lorraine

A prairie girl at heart with a great sense of humor, Lasha Lorraine Gooder, born in Gimli, MB August 7, passed after a short, courageous battle with cancer April 8, 2018 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 69, with family at her side.

    So sad to hear Lasha is not with us anymore, we worked together, coffees and lunches, She was always ready with the funny side of life and was always busy. With sadness I say farewell Lasha.

    I just heard of Lasha's passing. So very sad. I worked with Lasha at Costco. Enjoyed working with her.. Yes she had such a sense of humor, always upbeat. Such a lovely Lady.. Condolences to Family and Friends. You'll be missed Lasha!

    Condolences to her family. Even though I had never met her, I heard she was a wonderful, kind person. She is a second cousin to me but unfortunately we never crossed paths.

    Sincere condolences to Lasha's sisters and family.....Lasha indeed had the most delightful wit and endearing sense of humor. I will miss ours trips to the Kelowna Farmers Market and the Art Walk we enjoyed each summer along with our lunches and visits on the back deck with Margot and Bealy. Even through the painful years of waiting for back surgery, not once but twice, she managed to laugh and make others laugh too.....not an easy thing to do when suffering as she did. She had great fortitude and courage and met every battle head on with her no-nonsense attitude.

    To say I will miss her is such an understatement. I counted her as a friend and confident and will remember her always as the light she was in my life.

    I am both shocked and saddened to learn of Lasha's passing. I once worked with her and her sense of humor was like no other, she was both kind and fair. Safe journey Lasha!
