Obituaries

Born May 17, 1928 in Carman, Manitoba. Mabel went to school in a one room school house with 9 grades. She lived on a farm until age 25 when she moved to Winnipeg for work.
Mabel married in 1952 to Stanley Ginter from Manitoba. Mabel moved to Vancouver in 1956 working for Marpole Home Care for 19 years helping seniors. Her husband Stanley passed away in 1998. Later Mabel moved to Kelowna in 2006 where she spent the rest of her retirement.
She loved crafts and canvas knitting.
Mabel has 2 sons; Wayne(Lorie) from Kelowna and Greg(Shirley) from Delta.
3 grandchildren; Dave, Danielle and Jordan.
3 Great grandchildren; Mariska, Jayden and Lucas.

A memorial service will be Friday, Feb 9, 2018 at 1:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Service, 1211 Sutherland Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 5Y2
