FONTAINE, Alan Gerard

It is with great sadness the family of Alan Gerard Fontaine announces his passing after a brief illness on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the age of 53. Alan is survived by his loving family: father Robert; sisters Sheila (Randy) Lucas, Dori (Doug) Shearer and Karen (Joe) Batuik; brothers Neil (Gerry), Rick (Shelly), Bart (Esther), Tim (Lori) and Dean (Gina) Fontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Clara and brother Darryl. Alan was a devoted son and sibling, enjoyed many family gatherings, always with a ready smile. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 1:00 pm, at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Hi Tim, I have not seen you or Al in many, many years and have often wondered how your lives turned out as I had fond memories from years past. I was super sad to see this today. My deepest condolences, to you and your family, Al was a super nice guy.
