Obituaries

Shirley Fenton passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, at the age of 89 years.

Shirley was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed by her daughter Susan; her four sons, Rick (Janel), Brad (Christine), Brian, and Jeff (Cindy); 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her beloved sister, Dianne Weeks (Bill); and by her many friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her husband, Derek Campbell Lowe in 1995, and her second husband, William John Fenton in 2015.

Shirley loved the mountains and enjoyed countless hours hiking amidst their grandeur. Her adventurous nature extended beyond the trails and she found immense joy in cruising and travelling the world. Among her many treasured destinations, none captured her heart quite like Maui.

In keeping with Shirley's request to keep things small and intimate, a service for the family will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, www.alzheimer.ca, 20 Ellington Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, Ontario. M4R 1K8.
