Funeral Homes Submit ObituaryFEIST, Margaret Anne (ne Zunti)
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Feist on November 18, 2024, at the age of 96.
Margaret married Alphonse in August 1947, where they resided on their farm by Unity, Saskatchewan and raised 9 children. In 1990, they decided to retire and make their home in Kelowna, B.C., where they both loved living there and had a beautiful retirement together.
Sadly, Margaret was predeceased by her husband Alphonse (d. 2009); son Jim Feist (d. 2003); daughter Mitzie Wasyliw (d. 2014); and great-grandchild Rama Horricks (d. 2021).
Left to mourn her are her children, Bernadette Feist, Shirley Winter (Mark Hancherow), Jan (Wayne) Seamen, Timothy Feist (Jacqueline Senger), Phyllis Ladobruk, Kim Feist, Chris (Nicola) Feist; daughter-in-law Lynn Feist and son-in-law Larry Wasyliw. She will also be missed by all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
To our Mother,
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we would walk
right up to heaven and bring you home again.
Thank you for loving and guiding us. Even though you are no longer
with us, we all know you are watching over us.
Miss you and love you. We will see you again.

Always enjoyed visiting with Margaret and Alphonse when we drove out from Alberta to visit my parents, Rita and Leo Heemskerk. The two couples played many a card game together over the years while living at the Arboretum. Our condolences to the family.
