EASTON, David Robert: In loving memory of David Easton, born on April 15, 1931 in West Hartlepool, England. David passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019 with family by his side. David is survived by his sister, Irene, son, Stephen (Donna) and his loving wife and best friend of 67 years, Doreen. David leaves a large circle of friends and family both in Canada and the UK. In 1953 David moved to Canada and spent the majority of his life in Vancouver, B.C. where he worked with Maple Leaf Foods for 43 years before retiring in 1994. In 1997 David and Doreen moved to Kelowna to live the Okanagan life-style. David was a true gentlemen and known for his great sense of humour, story telling, a joy of laughter and he was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to call him a friend. He and Doreen travelled extensively and much enjoyed their winter visits to Hawaii and Palm Springs. David was a Freemason, had a passion for many things and loved to read, do crosswords, garden, golf, cycle, travel and listen to classical music. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. A celebration of David
