DONALDSON, Gordon

Gordon Donaldson passed away on September 6, 2023, in Kelowna, BC at the age of 84 years.

He is survived by his children Rodney (Karen) Donaldson and Sheila (Terry) Bartlett; grandchildren Shelbi and Tanner; sister Laurel Fisher; and brother Donald Donaldson; as well as his niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his partner Berthe Greenwood; brother Colin Donaldson; and daughter Jeanette.

Gordon loved hockey, and he had a season pass to the Kelowna Rockets. When he could no longer attend games, he would listen to the games on the radio. Gordon spent his final couple years in Cottonwood Care Centre where he absolutely thrived.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

So sorry to see that Gord has passed away. He lived in East kelowna for many years and we knew each other from his visits to the KLO Supermart. Gord was a kind gentleman and i’m sure he will be missed by many. Sincere sympathy from Jo @ East kelowna post office. - jo meyers

Working in Health Care you should not have your favorites but yes Gordon was one of my favorites!! He participated and showed up for every program available. He will sadly be missed :( My deepest condolences to Sheila and family. Carolyn - Carolyn Ward

We got to know Gordon at Cottonwoods when my husband was there. Gordon was very upbeat and interesting to talk to. He enjoyed the numerous activities at Cottonwoods. He will be missed by all. - Frieda Stoochnoff

I remember seeing Gordon around the rink pretty much every night...he always had a big smile and a hello for everyone.
