Obituaries

John passed away on February 8, 2019 at the age of 79. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Wood; daughters Cristal Potesta (Allan), April Dimond (Eric) and Laura Carbonneau (Normand); sons John Dimond (Shannon) and Stephen Wood; nine grandchildren: Kristin, Robbie, Lee, Elly, Ryan, Stephanie (Matt), Adam (Sarah), Nathan and Kaitlen (Kyle); six great-grandchildren: Grace, Landon, Sawyer, Jordan, Mason and Avaya; brothers Kenneth (Judy) and Richard (Ruth); and nieces and nephews: Steven, Michelle, Lori (Ian), Patti (Wayne, Mackenzie) and Kathy (John).
John was born in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan on August 19, 1939 and moved to BC in 1940, spending many years in Abbotsford before settling in Kelowna in 2013. He loved gardening, always creating a backyard oasis wherever he lived. If John wasn
