DIDORA, Anne

DIDORA, Anne

August 5, 1929 – January 22, 2019
In peace and with dignity, Anne passed away at the age of 89 after a lengthy illness. We will remember her kindness, soft voice, willingness to help others in need, and especially her smile.
Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her most cherished gifts. They are all blessed with the most amazing memories of their Mom and Grandmother.
Anne was predeceased by her loving husband John in 2013 and son Gordon in 2003.
During her illness her daughter Pat was always by her side. Travelling from Winnipeg every month, she accompanied her mother to each and every appointment. Most recently she was with her for their last visit together.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Kelowna General Hospital – 4th Floor, Kelowna Cancer Clinic, Dr. Michael Bobyn, Dr. Greg Dueck and staff for their excellent and compassionate care. Thank you also to Liz, Nicole and Shelley who cared for her in her home over the last couple of months when Pat could not be there.
Anne was loved by so many people in her close community. Many are still there from when John and Anne first moved in and continue to watch over each other. For that, Pat is very appreciative. A special acknowledgment of gratitude goes to friends Elaine, Teri, Doreen and Angie for their endless support and friendship especially during this difficult time.

Pat: I was so sad to hear of the passing of your dear Mom. I was fortunate to get to know your Mom and Dad over the past 11 years as their Account Manager. After the passing of your Dad, I really got to know your Mom as well as you. You truly were a wonderful daughter who was always there for your Mom. I truly feel blessed to have known your parents, as well as you. Take comfort in knowing that your parents are once again together. My deepest sympathy. Karen Zol

Dear Pat, I just heard of Auntie's passing. I'm so sorry I had not contacted her lately, though I think of you both often. Now she can rest. You have been an angel to your Mother for many years Pat! My deepest condolences to your family.

Hi Pat: I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I haven't seen her (or you), since your dad passed away in 2013 but I think of them and you often. Your mom always had coffee and her home made donuts for me when I dropped over. Our deepest sympathy to you.
