CROTEAU, Tristin Joseph Martin

It is with great sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of our son, brother and friend Tristin Joseph Martin, CROTEAU, 21, of Kelowna who passed away tragically February 18th, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained while snowboarding and doing what he loved most. Tristin is survived by his loving parents, Lance, Chandra and brother Elijah. He will be missed dearly by numerous extended family, friends and anyone who was privileged enough to cross paths with him.

A celebration of Tristin's Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Everden Rust Funeral Services, in Kelowna.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to The Tristin Croteau Memorial Fund, which will provide funding for underprivileged youth to access winter sports.

No words can ever describe the loss of a child. I knew Tristan my grade 7 year of middle school and since graduation he has reached out to apologize for the actions of others. He will always be remembered as an amazing and loving and caring person.

I am so saddened. My heart is breaking for you Chandra, Lance and Jeremy. Tristan has been in my thoughts since I heard the news. He was such a gentle soul. Tristan was the type of young man that you never forgot once you met him. Always so kind and polite. He always took time to chat with me whenever I saw him.

Thinking of the Croteau family during this deeply difficult time.
