COOPER (GERMAN), Trina Marie

Trina Marie (German) Cooper

Trina was born on March 30, 1961 in Luseland, SK. to Beatrice and Mike German. Her family moved to Kelowna in 1962.

Trina is survived by her husband Calvin Cooper, her sister Marva and brother Gerald, and many nieces and nephews. Trina was predeceased by her father Mike in 1997 and her mother Beatrice in 2020.

Trina attended Okanagan College and trained as a cook before turning her attention to nursing. Trina worked as a nurse in the Penticton Hospital for 4 years, before moving to Winnipeg. Trina lived in Winnipeg for 7 years before returning to Kelowna. Trina was a travel agent for many years during which time she travelled to many places most people only dream about! Trina was also a leader with Scouts Canada and involved with black powder shooting, before moving to Burnaby.

She was an animal lover and had a menagerie over the years, the many cats and dogs were joined by fish, parrots and even a ferret!

Trina passed away on June 28, 2021, during the heatwave in Burnaby.

Trina will be remembered by her family and many friends she gathered over the years!
