I had the pleasure of working with Dixie many years ago in ICU. She was one of "experienced" nurses when I started there and Dixie was always someone newer nurses felt comfortable going to for questions and support. She had a contagious smile and a giving heart! I now have the pleasure of working with her daughter Rebecca in ICU. RIP Dixie, glad you are now at peace!

We only knew Dixie for a short time having recently moved into the neighbourhood. It didn't take long to know what a wonderful person she was as the day we moved in, she arrived with fresh baked muffins and from thereon her warm, generous, positive personality was apparent. We will miss her smiling face and Ken we wish you comfort with your memories of Dixie.

Dear June, Daisy, Mitch and Burke, their families and the children and husband of Dixie: My heart is broken knowing this... what a fighter this gal was!! Had wonderful times living across the street on Rowcliffe many years ago, attending the same school, church and running into her over the years from time to time. Always shared a laugh and was amazed at the resilience this woman had given her health set backs. I hope you will find peace in the days ahead and that the memories will continue to bring you smiles and comfort.

Most sincerely and with much love,

    Donna (Coupal) Numminen
