At the age of 96, Marian passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Kelowna General Hospital.
Beloved wife of the late Wesley (Nick) Carter, sister to Frances Allen and to Dorothy McKays (deceased) and predeceased by her sons Billy (1940) and Kenny (1963). She is survived by her son Nicholas and was adored by family and friends.
Born in Edmonton in 1921, Marian grew up in Cranbrook, met and married her husband Nick in Banff in 1950. As well as being a wife and mother, Marian was her late husband
