BRAY, Gary

BRAY, Gary

Gary Bray
With his family at his side, Gary Bray passed away and joined his beloved wife of 46 years, Gloria Bray in Heaven on November 15, 2021.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa, son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Shay, Bobbi and Li, his stepdaughter Kim, son-in-law John, grandchildren Tony, Anne, Marie and Joseph, his sister Sharon Wilson-Carr and many great grandchildren.
Born in Orillia, Ontario September 09, 1940, Gary grew up enjoying all that the beautiful Muskoka area had to offer. He pursued a career in banking and executive management in the auto industry working for many years in Magna International and moving to various cities in Southern Ontario. He then embarked on a successful venture helping people to make their own beer and wine by opening Brewhaven in London, Ontario and operated it for 14 years. In their retirement Gary and Gloria moved to the sunny Okanagan to enjoy time with family in a beautiful area.
Gary, you will be missed on earth and we look forward to seeing you in Heaven. Your wise words, kind hearted manner and easy smile brightened all of our days.
Our family is sincerely grateful for the warm and compassionate care and companionship that many staff members of Hawthorne Park’s assisted living provided to Gary especially in these last few months.
Private family services will be held. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.firstmemorialfuneralkelowna.com

Gary and Gloria, 2 of the nicest people one could ever know. Together again. A pleasure getting to know them over the years at Hawthorn Park. Miss them both dearly. Darrell

Sorry to hear of Gary’s passing…and Gloria’s as well…we enjoyed a nice glass of wine with them, or two, when we all lived in Sun Village…fine, friendly people.

So sorry for your family's loss. I always enjoyed chatting with Gary on the phone when he was putting in his grocery orders. Him and Gloria were so lovely.
    Thoughts and condolences.
