Obituaries

On June 24, 2017 with her family gathered by her side Adrienne died after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her children, son Burke (Laurie) Bowden, Chicago IL, daughters: Daphne Bowden, Kelowna BC, Yvonne (Len) Mohrhardt, Fort McMurray, AB, Kelly (Dan) Santema, Austin, TX, Yolande Bowden, Surrey, BC. Brother, Michael (Margaret) Burke, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Adrienne was predeceased by her husband Glenn.

Born on June 23, 1928 in Mount Forest Ontario, Adrienne was an independent young lady who valued education. She graduated from St Michael

  A wonderful women with an adventuresome spirit who was always willing to try new things. She loved people and was loved in return. She was kind and a good friend. I am glad that I was able to share many moments with her her and missed her when she moved to Surrey. Her memory will remain in all the things and people she touched in her life. Lorraine

  Only knew this incredible lady briefly before she moved, through our mutual friend Lorraine. She shared her dishes with me and was so pleased we were able to enjoy them at dinner at our home before she left. Then blessed we did write notes on email. A real treasure she was for sure!
