Dear Sherry, Laurie and family,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. Our family lived on Elm St East when you lived on Bernard Avenue and Laurie and I often played together. I remember your family was involved with the Okanagan Twirlettes, and although I could not twirl a baton without injury to someone nearby, your lovely Mom didn't want me to feel left out, so invited me to carry the Twirlette banner in the Regatta parade. I'll always remember how wonderful and kind she was. - Karen (Williston) Waldal - Nov 25, 2024
