I have great memories of Mr. Boe taking Kenny and I night skiing at Last Mountain and down to the lake to swim. The Boe's were the first family on Keith Road besides us, the McLean's (Keith, Patricia, Marcella, Byron & Patrick. Kenny and I were inseparable in the late 1960's and I spent many dinners over at the Boe's and Mr. and Mrs. Boe were always so amazingly kind to me. I wish I had stopped in to see the Boe's on my various trips through Kelowna. Mr. Boe was such a kind and generous person. Condolenses to the Boe family. - Byron McLean

I got to know Odd at BCM. He was a quiet sole that loved to go for a walks and loved to have you chat with him. We now have Astrid at BCM who is such a kind and loving sole towards caring for Odd as his dementia progress. To Astrid and family, Odd was very much loved and keep your memories close. Odd has a special spot in my heart. Tara-Lee

Mrs. Boe and family - my deepest condolences. I remember Mr Boe telling jokes (my favourite one was about the mouse hiding in the bread box). He always had a smile and a hello. Wonderful memories from the days of the Ok Mission volunteer fire department.

Astrid, Kenny, Suzette, Chelsea and Kyla, Grethe and family,

This is such sad news to hear of Odd's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you all for the loss of a most wonderful man. Odd was such a hardworking, kind and caring man who never hesitated to help and was always passing on his knowledge and creative ways of fixing things. We have so many great memories that our families have shared over the years as neighbours. We will never forget Odd and feel truly blessed to have known him. Please take comfort in knowing that each soul is a beautiful flower that passes from this earth, only to bloom again in heaven's garden.

Suzette, Ken and family our deepest sympathy.

Your dad came for haircuts but he always stopped and looked at the 1955 chevy. He would walk around the car and found few things that should be fixed. We always talked about Norway. He will be missed, his hairdresser Dee Dragica and Patrick.

Dear Astrid, Grethe and Ken and families,

My memories of Odd are so fond. He was such a gentleman, kind and full of joy, so capable and so "fit".... a true Norwegian athlete. He has left a lasting legacy and will be remembered with affection.

Sending love, blessings and condolences to all of you.

Ode and Astrid were our neighbours and friends for many years in Okanagan Mission. We shared many camping trips and skiing days. My family and I will remember Ode for his skiing ability, his care and repair of cars and his park like yard. He brought many laughs and fun to our times together. So glad we have some great photos of our days together to help us remember the times together.
