BLOMQUIST-SHIELDS, Doris Pauline

Doris Pauline Blomquist-Shields passed away peacefully August 28, 2019 in Kelowna, BC.

Doris was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and spent her childhood in the small towns of Arundal and LaChute Quebec of which she had fond memories. She worked several years in Toronto before moving to Lake Country in the early 1970

Doris will be missed by many. Many years ago I was a neighbor on Pretty Road. She was so faithful writing Christmas letters after I moved away from Winfield.

I remember Doris at aerobics classes at the Winfield hall and Aspen she was always there smiling and happy and the same every time I saw her after that. Merc

Our condolences to Doris' family. We have know Doris for a very long time. We will miss her driving around in that Dodge and will greatly miss her warm smile.

Doris was a neighbour on Pretty Road.....a smile greeted you every time we met. Making time to connect with special people and always enjoying her precious dog.

Doris came to my aerobic classes at Aspen Grove many years ago, she very rarely missed a class. Always so positive and friendly. Just the other day I was thinking about her and the brown dodge she drove.

Doris will very much be missed, loved talking with her on her walks, and seeing her at the grocery store. She was a very warm friendly happy soul. Hugs to Doris's family, with our condolences. Dave and Mona Weinstein
