I first met Wendy when I joined 2822 Westie Cadet Corps in Surrey 2001 where she was the commanding officer. She defiantly was an extraordinary lady and will be dearly missed. My condolences to her family and friends.

    RIP Wendy Bloome!

We are so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing, we were honoured to have her lead the 788 corp in Penticton and glad to have gotten to know her. Even after her diagnosis, she still managed to make us laugh with her spry sense of humour and we will never forget her or her contributions to our son's growth in the RCACC program (he is now in the reg force and has fond memories of her leadership). To her family, we hope that you find peace and comfort in the days and months ahead, for undoubtedly the place she leaves behind in your hearts will be vast.
