Living on Cambie Road, I started babysitting Mearl when she was one year old. Her stepfather, Ivan, was one of my best friends, so I got to see her grow up and become a typical normal teenager and then become a wonderful woman, who was always pleasant and respectful of others. My condolences to Jason and the children as well as my friends Vickie and Joe. I share in your loss.

We are so very sad to hear of the passing of Mearl. Our home was her home, separated only by the park. Such a special person who has been taken way to soon. Hugs, hugs and more hugs for the family.

I will always remember the great times we had growing up from Belgo through to Rutland Senior, and the many run-ins we had until you moved. My thoughts are with your beautiful family. Mearl had a wonderful soul which now will live through her children.
