BIRD, Bud

BIRD, Bud

Sadly to say, Bud passed away August 9, 2019 very peacefully.

Dad had so many stories to tell, you couldn't keep up with them all. He loved telling his golf stories the most, that was his true passion.

He leaves behind his daughter Autumn (Dirk), his grandchildren; Sheldon, Kevin, Cheyenne and Hayden and great granddaughter Kinsley.

As grumpy as he was, he was a kind soul. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Sad to hear that news. I first met Bud at Langara golf course in the late 50s as a teenager. Bud had a unconventional swing, but was one of the best putters i ever knew. He was also one of the best pool players in B.C., a true character not seen to often these days. May the greens be smooth and still making putts where ever you are Bud.

    RIP

Very sad to hear this and sorry for your loss. I will always remember the good fun we had golfing with Bud at Ponderosa Golf Course . I also had the good fortune to watch him get his 14th hole in 1 . He was a gentleman and if he liked you he would let you play golf with him. Terry/Ray Colbon
