BEUTEL, Helmut

BEUTEL: Helmut. Helmut passed away in the Kelowna General Hospital on November 18th, 2022. Helmut is survived by his last love of his life, Elisabeth Dierdorf and her daughter Betty Jackson, husband Jim and their son Chase and many nieces , nephews and families that called him Opa,

He was predeceased by his parents, mother Johanna Beutel, father Herman Beutel and his first wife Martha, sister Elvira. He is also survived by sisters Helgard and family in California and Roswitha and family in Italy. He also leaves behind multitude of faithful friends that have been with him for many years.
Helmut was a dog lover and had many rescues of all breeds, His last four-legged friend was a spoiled Bichon Frise called Trigger who loved to cuddle Helmut and is missing him terribly.

Helmut was an excellent machinist most of his life starting in Germany, with many odds jobs to fill in the gaps. His last jobs included Illichmans and Gorman’s lumber here in the valley.

Helmut was a collector; he loved his music and had a vast vinyl record collection as well as anything of value. His yard was filled with fruits, vines and berries, flowers and trees.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date in May.

The family would like to thank the caregivers, doctors , nurses, the dialysis unit, and all that took good care of Helmut.

Helmut was a good friend and full of knowledge. I spent many years visiting and running his dogs . Helmut was like a grandfather to me . May you rest with no pain now and I will never forget you.

Helmut was our neighbor for decades and we shared the dog love life. He was a good man. And a great friend, will miss him.
