BENNETTS, Phyllis May

BENNETTS, Phyllis May

Phyllis May Bennetts (née Ramsey)

February 20, 1926 – February 18, 2025

Phyllis passed away peacefully in Penticton, BC, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves behind her beloved companion, Sassy; her children, Richard (Joan), Judy, Geoffrey (Bonnie), and Donald; her grandchildren, Cody (Francesca), Keltie, Benjamin (Lee), and Jessica; and her great-grandchildren, Mateo, Pablo, Wylder, Kayne, Jaxson, Ramsey, Levi, and Sophia. She was a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many, and she loved her family dearly.

An exemplary mother and human being, Phyllis embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, a warm sense of humor, and an unending generosity reflected in the care she showed for those around her. Words cannot fully express how grateful we are to have felt her love, influence, wit, and strength.

Together, Phyllis and her husband, John Johnson, touched many lives through their 50 years of dedication to their art galleries in Edmonton, Alberta.

We know she is in heaven, watching over us with her big, beautiful smile.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Courtney for her care and friendship to our mother. We would also like to thank the staff at Penticton Regional Hospital for their compassion and care, as well as Everden Rust Funeral Home for their support during this difficult time.

Cremation has already taken place, and no service will be held at this time. The family plans to celebrate the lives of both Phyllis and John (predeceased) at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you buy yourself something beautiful in memory of these two beautiful souls.
