BEEBE, June Charmaine

BEEBE, June Charmaine

With heavy hearts we announce that our beloved June Beebe has passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Brian, and her 33-year-old daughter, Sarah, as well as many family members; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends, who we appreciate at this time of loss.

June was beautiful inside and out. Her vibrant soul will be missed by many. She made every day a brighter and better place, always giving without expecting anything in return. She always saw the best in people, even when others couldn't. She went out of her way to make people feel special, noticed and appreciated. Her adventurous spirit was infectious. She brought joy everywhere she went. June will always be remembered for her love of the outdoors, for all living creatures and for her family. Thank you, June, for teaching us what love means.

June has requested no funeral service but, instead, a campfire celebration will be held in her honor this Spring. Please contact Sarah for information on this event. She has also requested that any donations, in lieu of flowers or cards, be made to the Kelowna SPCA, a cause she was very passionate about.

I got to know June these last 12 yrs as a friendly neighbor but mostly from World's Gym. She was the pinnacle of health, she was strong and very health conscious. Her passing was a shock and I will miss our conversations at the gym when she would share about her last hike or upcoming activity. I can not imagine the loss felt by Brian and Sarah. June was a lovely lady and I'll miss her.
