ATWAL, Manpal Singh

Manpal Singh Atwal, 29, of Surrey, British Columbia, passed suddenly, though peacefully, surrounded by his closest loved ones on March 12, 2023. Manpal was born on July 16, 1993, in Etobicoke Ontario to Daljit Kaur and Late Jagtar Singh Atwal. He spent his early years in Kelowna BC with his mom, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Manpal later moved to Surrey BC where he attended the last of primary school, middle school and graduated from Frank Hurt Secondary school in 2011. Manpal was raised with with an abundance of love by his mom Daljit Kaur and Dad Jaswinder Singh

Manpal was a kind, thoughtful and compassionate person. He touched the lives of every person he met. When Manpal was around you would always be greeted with a huge smile and a bear hug. Hospitality was one of his many gifts "what can I get you? do you need anything? what will you drink? what can I order for you?" were just a few of his questions when someone walked through the door. He had an unforgettable bond with every family member, friend, and co-worker he ever knew. Manpal was blessed with a heart full of the most sincere and profound love for all.

The passing of Manpal has left a void never to be filled in the lives of his parents Dalit Kaur and Jas Singh, Grandparents Mastan Singh Soos and Jaswinder Kaur Soos, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and beloved Nonu.

The funeral service for Manpal will be held at 1pm on Thursday March 23 at Riverside Funeral Home 7410 Hopcott Rd, Delta, BC V4G 1B6 followed by a final prayer service at Nanaksar Gurudwara Gursikh Temple 18691 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V6V 1B1.
