ANDRES, Tarrie

ANDRES, Tarrie

Tarrie Andres – An amazing Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Friend passed away on December 29th 2017 at the age of 39. Born on September 11th 1978 in Chetwynd BC, Tarrie moved to Kelowna at a young age where she stayed for many years before eventually ending up in Terrace where she also spent time as a child.

She is survived by her wife Donna Andres, Mother Wendy Mooney(Mike Lecerf), Father Rick Mooney(Alina Mooney), Brothers Gord Mooney & Stephen Mooney, her sister Ella McLellan-Dodds, and many nieces and nephews, along with several extended family members. She is also survived by the most important people in her life, her three beautiful children, Krystin, Nicholas, and Wesley who she loved fiercely, as well as a special little man in her life, her Grandson Parker.

Tarrie lived her life with passion and zest. She wasn’t afraid to say what she was feeling and would always stand up for what she felt was right. With her radiant smile and striking blue eyes, Tarrie was the light in every room, and always the life of the party. Her deep loyalty to the people she loved was simply remarkable.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Rd, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association. https://cmhasandbox.microsoftcrmportals.com/new-donation/

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid, you see.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savoured much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.
