Games Dig Deep Into Pockets
It doesn’t look like too many people can afford to watch the Olympic games.Organizers say 2.9 million tickets have been sold, but so far, the venues are seating only a few fans.
One said the events resemble high school matches due to the low number of spectators.
Ticket prices are very expensive indeed, and can cost up to $600 US.
Despite the low numbers, organizers are confident that both attendance and ticket sales will boost once the games progress and get “more exciting.”
