Wikipedia's year in review

Wikipedia, the popular free online encyclopedia has launched its first ever annual video.

It revisits many of the year's top stories and articles that were read and edited from the FIFA World Cup, to various protests held around the globe.

Over 100 million edits were made to Wikipedia pages in 2014 that covered such topics as the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS and the Ebola crisis in West Africa.

So take the next few minutes and look back on the year that was, in the online world.
