Interview: Shane Koyczan

Spoken word artist Shane Koyczan performs in Kelowna this Sunday (March 18th) at the Mary Irwin Theatre in our Cultural District.

Who is Shane Koyczan? I would venture to call him the voice of a generation.

Chosen to perform at the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, he has been working hard sharing that voice with the world.

I met up with Shane at our airport last week and did my first "in car" interview enroute to his home in Penticton. He has a new book, new album, and this weekend's shows in Penticton (Dream Cafe) and Kelowna are the beginning of a 19 date tour that brings him to one side of Canada and back with his finale concert at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver on April 21st.
