West Kelowna Music Fest


Salsa Dance band Mazacote, from Vancouver, headline this years West Kelowna World Music Festival....

The second annual West Kelowna World Music Festival arrives this Saturday. This festival features a jammed packed Interior Savings Kids Zone, two headline acts to make you dance from Vancouver, food vendors, and best of all it's all free. The event happens this Saturday at Memorial Park (behind the Johnston Bentley Pool) and runs from 5-9:30pm. 
Acts include:
5:00pm Stan Jack
5:30pm Sister Speak
7:00pm Ezra Kwizera
8:15pm Mazacote 
The Interior Savings Kids Zone features:
- A petting zoo
- Obstacle course
- Facepainting by Christine Turpin
- Great Way Martial Arts Demonstration
- Westbank Museum
- Mr Brownnose signing and making balloon creations
- WFN Sncewips Heritage Museum
- Bubble tent by Centre Culturel Francophone de l'Okanagan
- Toss games
- Kelowna Museum
- Mini Kids activities by Kelowna Community Resources

Ryan Donn is a singer/songwriter, event producer, digital creative, and Councillor at the City of Kelowna

I love creating songs, which have been used by the Terry Fox Run, Kelowna’s Centennial Celebration, or heard on various local radio stations. 

In the past few years, I've focused on creating community events including Music in the Park, New York New Years, Castanet’s Free Family Skate, Talented Kids, Talented Kelowna, and others.
