Summer camps for kids

In just a few short weeks, summer will officially hit the Okanagan! That means lots of sun, beach time, and, the kids are out of school! Thankfully, it also marks the start of dozens of different summer camps for kids. Outdoor, musical, church, artistic, sports, and academic-themed camps are being hosted throughout the city to help fend off boredom, give kids an opportunity to meet new friends, and of course, have some summer fun away from the confines of home. Here are just a few camps for your consideration. More can be found by looking through the hard copy or online version of City of Kelowna’s recreation guide at www.kelowna.ca/recreation or by contacting various organizations directly to inquire about their specific programs especially if you require full time summer childcare options. Daycares and recreation centres throughout the city are available for drop-ins, summer rates, and full-time childcare.
