
Are you happy with West Kelowna's proposed five per cent budget?
Do you have thoughts and ideas as to where the city should be heading this year and five years from now?
If so, the City of West Kelowna wants to hear from you.
The city is giving residents the opportunity through a series of open houses and an online questionnaire on the budget and five-year financial plan.
Open houses will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lakeview Heights Community Centre on Anders Road and Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the West Kelowna Yacht Club on Gellatly Road.
If you can't make one of the open houses, you can view the information online and complete a questionnaire or submit questions.
The proposed five per cent budget includes 1.7 per cent to to cover policing costs and one per cent for critical infrastructure.
Public engagement is open until Feb. 16.
