A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on West Kelowna's Horizon Drive Friday evening.
In a press release, Kelowna RCMP Const. Mike Della-Paolera says the crash occurred on Horizon Drive at about 5:40 p.m. The BC Coroner Service and RCMP investigations are still ongoing.
“Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors to the collision and the incident is currently under investigation,” says Const. Della-Paolera.
The crash, which left a silver vehicle upside down in a ditch, closed Horizon Drive between Aurora Heights and Olympus Way for several hours, while officers examined the scene.
Police are now asking for anyone with information about the crash, or dashcam footage from the area, to call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 and quote file 2022-52348.
