BC Transportation reported snow flurries on the Pennask Summit of Highway 97C, the Coquihalla Connector, late Wednesday afternoon.

It’s another reminder that you need to have winter tires on your vehicles this time of year.
Winter tires or chains are required on most routes in British Columbia from October 1 to April 30. For select highways not located through mountain passes and/or high snowfall areas, tire and chain requirements end March 31.
The local forecast from Environment Canada for Wednesday night calls for snow at elevations as low as 1400 metres. Pennask Summit is over 1700 metres.
