Two people were removed from a motorhome that was pulled over on Highway 97 in West Kelowna Wednesday evening
Traffic has been slowed on Highway 97 in West Kelowna by an arrest involving a large motorhome.
Multiple witnesses tell Castanet that RCMP pulled over a large motorhome on Highway 97 near Bartley Road, but the vehicle’s occupants refused to exit.
Police eventually forcibly removed two people from the motorhome. Video sent to Castanet showed them being led to waiting police cars in handcuffs.
Traffic in the area has been slowed significantly while officers work. A half dozen RCMP cruisers and an ambulance are still at the scene.
Castanet will request more information from the RCMP. Officers at the scene declined to comment.
