WFN Council Remains Same

There will be a lot of familiar faces at the Westbank First Nation Council meetings.

Three incumbents were re-elected during Friday’s voting.

Larry Derrickson, Mike DeGuevara and Loreta Swite will return to council.

Also returning is Brian Eli, who had stepped down 18 months ago after suffering a heart attack.

Councillor Mickey Werstuik ran for chief, but Robert Louie was re-elected with 60 per cent of the vote.
