Westside Hit And Run?

Police are on the lookout for a newer yellow Pontiac Sunfire in connection with an alleged hit and run Saturday morning on the Westside.

A bleeding man walked into a store on Westgate Rd just after 11:00 a.m. saying he had been hit by a car and that the car had driven away. RCMP and BC Ambulance Services responded to the call from the store staff, and the victim described to them the vehicle he says hit him.

Police say the vehicle they are looking for probably has some type of front-end damage.

No specifics about injuries have yet been released, and the investigation is continuing.
