The RCMP continue to investigate the actions of a suspicious vehicle. On July 2nd, at approximately 4:40 a.m. members of the Westside RCMP located a vehicle that had fled from police earlier in the evening. This vehicle was located parked in the 3200 block of Deer Ridge Court. Members attempted to block the vehicle to prevent the driver from fleeing again. Subsequently the driver of the suspect vehicle backed up into the police car, causing some damage. The suspect driver fled the area at a high rate of speed. Extensive patrols were made for the vehicle but the Police were unable to locate it. It is described as an orange Bronco bearing BC licence plate 286 HSA. The plate does not match the vehicle.
