Safety on the water is key as we head into a busy long weekend.
Safety was probably top of mind Wednesday around 5 p.m. when a float plane came down hard on the lake on the westside.
Emergency crews had to help out on the water in Green Bay.
The plane was partially submerged and had to be towed to shore.
Fortunately the pilot was not injured.
